The Android OS allows THETA to extend its capability as a stand-alone device. You can install additional apps created by yourself as well as Ricoh. For example, an app makes it possible to project to TV screens remotely and move spherical visuals for viewing without a Smartphone.　

RICOH R Development Kit

RICOH R Development Kit is a spherical live streaming camera that can be continuously used for 24 hours. The standard Equirectangular Projection Format for spherical images is composed within the camera in real time, and images are output using an HDMI or USB device. Also, the source codes of the API to control the camera through a USB device and the image control tool "RICOH R Console" for computers will be made open to the public. Accordingly, RICOH R Development Kit can be widely used in fields such as telexistence and computer vision in addition to entertainment.

PENTAX KP

PENTAX KP is a small sized single-lens reflex camera with a APS-C size sensor embedded with a high quality optical viewfinder and advanced technology. The compact body features a water/dust-proof structure and excellent weathering performance with cold-resistant performance at -10℃. Quiet shooting in dark places is possible with high sensitivity of up to ISO 819200. Details in objects can be portrayed with ultra-high quality images that utilize stability optimization. 3 differently-shaped grips are easily exchangeable so users can customize the camera according to the lens or preferences.

Accessibility App

Accessibility App is an application package that can be installed in MFP as an additional function for users with visual impairments. It allows users with visual impairments to use MFP basic applications (copy, FAX, scanner and printer) at the same level of usability as users with normal sight. Users can operate MFP operation panel in the same way of other smart devices with thoughtful usability designs such as "Simple and consistent layout", "Large button with enhanced contrast helping to avoid pressing the wrong button", "Supporting screen reader function" and so on.

RICOH Ri 100 / RICOH Rh 100 / RICOH Design Software

RICOH Ri 100 is a compact ink jet printer which prints on fabric products such as T-shirts and tote bags directly. The compact size means it can be installed in small stores and customers can "print on the spot". This provides flexibility and allows a variety of new clothing printing services. RICOH Ri 100 provides a garment print experience to customers to allow "design on the spot" with pictures and handwritten drawings using a dedicated tablet application, and "original printed clothes on the spot" can be worn 10 minutes later. RICOH Ri 100 offers a new experience in the clothing printing.

RICOH AP-10A

Controls various machines in factories or distribution warehouses automatically with only one device. Before, Windows PCs were used to program machine behavior and PLC control operations. Connections with machines was complex and communication unstable. Now, PC and PLC are integrated into one, eliminating operations for device connections and stabilizing communication. Space saving with integration allows more freedom and easy device installation. Also, less wiring reduces cost. The brightly colored device can be seen in the dark. Terminal position and notation places emphasis on visibility.

San-ai Dream Center projection system

Large-scale projection system with multi screen utilizing 40 windows which is installed without drastic exterior/interior changes and can be viewed from the Ginza landamrk "San-ai Dream Center" (Completed in 1963: Shouji Hayashi). 80 ultra-short-throw projectors were installed on 40 windows facing the Ginza 4 cho-me intersection from the 3rd floor to the 9th floor of the building. One characteristic of the system is that liquid crystal shutter film is attached to these windows and used as a screen only when projecting content, so that the exterior/interior view of the building does not change.
