Relying on our concept of “legitimate evolution”, and to make GR cameras into “tools for the artist”, we have continuously added fine improvements and new functions to GR cameras. While providing more convenient methods for photographing, we have not added design changes to parts or functions that users have indicated preference for. This way, we have enhanced the usability of the camera to make it a tool for the artist.
We are not pursuing newness blindly, but retaining what is valuable and making changes only if they are necessary improvements. This attitude is part of the Ricoh approach, in which excellent products are built around the concept of “legitimate evolution”.

GX200

The basic concept of the GX200 is “a tool for the artist”. Based on this, the GX200 will provide users with snapshots and new photography experiences that no single-lens reflex camera can offer.
To enable intuitive use of various functions allowing diversity in photographing landscapes, we have paid attention to the number and location of the operation buttons. We have designed the unit size of the GX200 and the shape of the grip carefully, so users can hold the camera securely, which is essential for taking good photographs.

G600

An “On-the-spot” tool
The G600 was designed to be a tool that can be used for photographing construction or civil engineering sites or accident scenes (fire or other disasters). The G600 embodies “robustness”, “usability” and “portability”. Smaller and lighter than its predecessors, the G600 is an integration of those three important design elements, and offers advanced solutions in keeping with an “on-the-spot” tool. As Ricoh's fifth-generation camera for on-the-spot use, this model provides the excellent usability and product impression of its predecessors. We have placed this model on the market with the intention of establishing a reliable product brand.

GOOD DESIGN SUSTAINABLE DESIGN AWARD
imagio Neo603RC/ 753RC

The basic model of Ricoh imagio Neo603RC/753RC received a Good Design Award in 2002. Six years later, we began recovering MFPs from the market and thoroughly implementing group-wide activities to promote the concepts of “effective use of resources” and “emphasis on quality”. Based on the results of those activities, we re-released the Ricoh imagio Neo603RC/753RC. While formulating the design concepts for the basic models, we aimed to apply those concepts to recycled models and provided grain patterning on the machines' exteriors, making them stain–resistant and washable, allowing dirt to be easily wiped away.

Caplio GX100

The Caplio GX100 is built on the concept of “a tool that surpasses tool usability”, so it features shapes that are essential to cameras, and its detailed design contributes both to its reliability as a tool and to its functional excellence.
The Caplio GX100 can be carried in a bag or pocket so it can be used wherever users go. Compactly designed, the camera has a grip that allows users to hold it firmly, providing excellent manual control.
